I am currently reading this book and it is a very helpful resource in my learning. I am a beginner to electric guitar and found this book to be very informative. I'm looking forward to continue reading along to the next section.

The expression of MUC1 in breast tissues is upregulated in breast cancer, whereas the expression of MUC1 in breast cancer cells can increase their invasive potential and metastatic potential [34]. The effect of MUC1 on ductal elongation was examined using MUC1-overexpressing MCF10A breast epithelial cells, which were previously developed as an in vitro model system for breast cancer progression [35]. The MCF10A cells were grown on Matrigel hydrogels for 14 days, after which the cells had a discoid appearance, with a few scattered cells showing spindle-like morphology (Fig. 5e and f). In contrast, MUC1-overexpressing MCF10A cells exhibited the epithelial characteristics of ductal elongation, elongation, branching, and formation of primary, secondary, and tertiary ductal structures (Fig. 5e and f). These results suggest that MUC1 plays an important role in the formation of ductal structures.
