Growing up, learning and training in this realm, the men who were the chosen guardians of the Mortal Kombat world gained powerful artifacts and weapons. It was then that they learned that out of the ashes of Outworld was supposed to arise a light so that Shao Kahn may rise once again. This light was called the Force.
So, the time has come, the realm once again rises to overthrow the Emperor. The chosen warriors have taken their ancient oaths to Shao Kahn again. But this time they will stop at nothing to end the reign of terror.
When they arrive on Earth, they are confronted by the new Lord of the Rings, a new Shao Kahn. In fact, Shao Kahn’s new body is made of their very souls. The walls of the kingdom defeat them and trap them in the land. No one has ever returned in victory. The warriors escape underground with the force, not knowing what will happen next.
